maintenance plan

Using maintenance plan can make backup for another personal computerSorry, what is your question?

Yes, You can store the Backup files in to a different personal computer, But
while creating the maintenance plan , While specifying the "Specific Backup
Disk Directory" you have to give the UNC path eg( If your Personal computer
name is 'SQL_PC' then you have to give \\SQL_PC\sharename . Ensure that the
SQL server service startup account have write access to the above share,
otherwise the backup will fail.
(Ensure that SQL Agent is Running all the time)
