I have created a subscription to send a mail...and I get a link for the
report as below...
http://ServerName/reportserver?%.....
But the name is not getting resolved and my Admin says I need to use the
full qualified domain name(fqdn), Please let me know where I have to make
change in reporting services so the email link I get will have the fqdn of
the server like below instead of just the servername...
http://ServerName.xyz.com/reportserver?%.....
Thanks. What message do you get when you click the link? Are you passing
parameters? When you access the report server... do you use fqdn or
servername/reports

pass any paraneters..
here is the message I get...
Bad Gateway
The following error occurred:
[code=DNS_HOST_NOT_FOUND] The host name was not found during the DNS lookup.
Contact your system administrator if the problem is not found by retrying the
URL.
If I change the link to use the fqdn it works .
Thanks.
