Hello
I have this maint. plan where each and every step has been failing the last couple of days. The problem is, it doesn't write anything to the error logs. It only reports to the application log that each step of the plan has failed.
I suspect this might be a user rights problem, but it's difficult for me to say. What kind of rights are necessary for writing to the error logs?
In general, what rights are necessary for the user that runs the SQL Server Agent? And has anybody else experienced something similar?
MNJThis is mostly about scheduling a DTS package as a job. However, the security aspect of it should pertain to your situation as well.
